AIS XC Challenge 2021
RACE 1 | PARIS MARATHON | 7 – 13 Dec 2020
Race 1 saw our AIS community get their running shoes on and begin the AIS Cross Country Challenge by many participating in part of the ‘Paris Marathon!’ It was great to see our students, faculty and family members get involved in the first race where we seen participants between the ages of 6 to 59 years old take part. Congratulations to all who hiked, ran or cycled. As you can see from the statistics below Red Phoenix had most participants and at the end of race 1 were on 75 house points, with Blue Dragons on 50 points and White Tigers on 25 points! Congratulations to all!

RACE 2 | SANTA RUN | 21 – 31 Dec 2020
Our highly anticipated race 2 event saw our active AIS community take part in the Santa Run, during the Winter holiday break. We were delighted to see nearly half of those who took part were our fantastic students. Well done for keeping fit and healthy during the holidays! After the completion of race 2, Red Phoenix were still out in front in the house points leader board with 150 points and Blue Dragons and White Tigers tied on 75 points each! Well done everybody!

RACE 3 | LONDON MARATHON | 11 – 17 Jan 2021
2021 began with our AIS family taking part in race 3, the ‘London Marathon’. During this event we even had some high energy Elementary and Middle school students cycle 25km and 40km! Well done to them! However, one of our grade 12 students, Yuri absolutely dominated the event, by taking the quickest times in the 1.5km, 3km and 5km races! Amazing times. Well done to all who took part!

RACE 4 | BOSTON MARATHON | 25 – 31 Jan 2021
Our penultimate XC event had our AIS community take part in part of the ‘Boston Marathon’. Fantastic weather made for great conditions to get out and join in the fun. It was great to see lots of distances covered by our students, faculty and AIS families, from 1.5km to 50km! Our overall points totals so far after our 4th race, have red house on 300 points, white tigers on 175 points and blue dragons on 125 points! Congratulations to all!
