The AIS VEX GO season concluded in spectacular fashion on Wednesday, 10 June, as all 16 elementary teams gathered in the 123 Hall to compete in the AIS VEX GO Championship. Throughout the full-day tournament, 48 Eagle Engineers showcased their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills across two major events: the Teamwork Challenge and the Driving Skills Challenge.
After the scores from both events were combined, AIS-6 and AIS-13 finished tied at the top of the standings, forcing a dramatic sudden-death, head-to-head Driving Skills playoff. AIS-6 delivered an impressive score of 11 points, but AIS-13 responded with an extraordinary performance, setting a new program record of 14 points in a single match to capture the 2026 AIS VEX GO Championship. Their 14-point performance not only secured the championship but also set the highest single-game score recorded by any team across all schools, events, and tournaments this season. Congratulations to all of our Eagle Engineers for an outstanding season of learning, innovation, and teamwork. We look forward to even greater success in the years ahead!
This year’s championship also demonstrated the incredible growth of the Eagles Robotics program. Every team posted impressive tournament scores, and the leaderboard featured a healthy mix of Grade 2, Grade 3, and Grade 4 teams throughout the rankings. With only a small number of points separating many teams, the competition remained close from start to finish and showcased the depth of talent across the entire program.

Particularly encouraging was the performance of our youngest engineers, with several Grade 2 teams finishing in the top 10 and competing closely with their older peers. Their success highlights the bright future of the Eagles Robotics program and demonstrates the strong foundation being built for the years ahead. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new engineers when the VEX GO season begins again in August.
