What brought you to AIS?
I knew that I wanted to move back abroad and was very interested in living in such a vibrant city as Hong Kong. AIS stuck out to me because the school is passionate about whole-child pedagogy, and their values of Justice, Knowledge, and Love are values that are important to me as well.
What is your favorite thing about "being at" AIS?
The students here are amazing. They are curious and adaptable and resilient. They are self motivated and hard working.
Who inspires you? Why?
Cheryl Strayed (author of Wild) is an inspiration to me. As someone who loves writing, I enjoy how she tells a story and lives her life unapologetically. She is a champion for all, which I aspire to be as well.
What are passions you explore outside your career?
I love reading, writing, yoga, and crafts! I also enjoy cooking.
What's in your lunchbox today?
A leftover cheeseburger and pretzels.
