OUR COMMUNITY

Over the years, the American International School has successfully maintained a genuine small-school feel and is recognized for its strong sense of family. We all share an enduring sense of affection for AIS and our community.

As a teacher at AIS since it’s establishment in 1986, I have never ceased to have the joy of teaching. Each year, I meet new students — their curiosity and enthusiasm in learning makes me indeed proud of each and every one of them.

Parent-Teachers’ Association (PTA)

AIS is a family school where we share a deep commitment to the continued growth and well-being of every student. We continuously seek ways to bring parents into the school to share active and purposeful roles in the educational programs we offer.

The AIS Parent-Teachers’ Association (PTA) operates as a formal channel of communication between our families and the school. Every year, it organizes and supports a number of school-wide events including the annual Winter Fair. The PTA is an active and supportive group of parents that plans and conducts a wide range of activities and events that foster community, enhance cooperation, and raise funds to support numerous school activities that enrich learning experiences for all students.

Other events led by the PTA include Bake Sales, Mr. Softee Ice-Cream Truck Visits, Halloween & Christmas Campus Decorations, and more!

Being a parent volunteer at AIS has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have met many wonderful parents and learned so much about the diverse families that make up our school. Most importantly, this journey has deepened my connection to AIS. Seeing the joy and enthusiasm of the students firsthand has made me even more grateful to be part of this community.
