AIS TECHsperts Take Singapore: From Apple R&D to the Future of Robotics

The inaugural International Coding Exchange to Singapore was a tremendous success! Twenty-three AIS TECHsperts, together with students from other Hong Kong schools, joined the Hong Kong Government and Apple Hong Kong and Taiwan staff for an immersive week of learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

This first-of-its-kind program, organized by the Swift Coding Club and HKCEF, gave our TECHsperts the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in Singapore. Over five days, students toured cutting-edge facilities, including the Apple Research and Development offices and the National University of Singapore, exploring future-focused robotics and coding programs. They practiced building robots, programming in Swift, and experimenting with other coding languages, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Among the many highlights, the visit to the Apple Development Centre stood out — one of only three in the world, alongside locations in Shanghai and California. Our students represented AIS with professionalism, enthusiasm, and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone they met.

Special thanks to Mr. Green for his leadership and guidance throughout this unforgettable experience. We are incredibly proud of our TECHsperts for their curiosity, collaboration, and dedication to innovation.
