AIS Eagles 2025–26 ★ Season 1: Rising Momentum and New Waves

In Season 1, our lineup featured football and volleyball, and this year we proudly introduced a swimming team. With a wave of enthusiastic new athletes joining our teams, everyone showed outstanding dedication and drive throughout practices. Team spirit was awesome, and we all worked together for success. Now, let’s celebrate our fantastic Season 1 results!

football

This season, we had great energy on our U14 Boys’ Football team, especially from some new 5th and 6th grade boys! We built strong team chemistry step by step. We tied 2 games and learned from our 3 close losses. We practiced hard and got way better at defense. Everyone showed up to practice every day with big smiles. We learned new passes and blocks. Thank you Mr. Mao. We’re super excited and ready to advance to the playoff next year!

Our U14 Girls’ Football team had an awesome season! We welcomed a bunch of new players and they brought so much joy and energy to every practice. Even on super hot days or when it poured rain, everyone showed up smiling and ready to play. We didn’t win a lot of matches, but we scored some great goals, made amazing saves, and cheered super loud for each other. The fun times on the field—like celebrating little wins and laughing together—made it all unforgettable. Big thanks to Coach Martin for his encouragement and fun drills! We’re super proud of our growth and can’t wait to kick even harder next year!

volleyball

Our U14 Girls’ Volleyball team had a great season! Many players moved up from U12 with strong basic skills. We played in Division 2 to challenge ourselves against teams at our level. It was fun and exciting every game. Coach Staller was amazing—she taught us lots of smart volleyball tactics. We won 2 games and lost 5, but we learned so much and grew as a team. The girls had a blast cheering each other on and celebrating every point. Most of the team will be back next year, so we’re excited to do even better!

Our U16 Girls’ Volleyball team had a super fun season! We won 4 games and lost 5, but every match was a blast. We got so much better at skills like receiving the serve. We fought hard to get the 4th place playoff spot against AISHK, and even though we lost 1-2, we gave it our all and had a great time! Big thanks to Coach Josh for being an amazing coach. This season was full of smiles, teamwork, and volleyball fun. We built strong friendships and cheered each other on every step of the way. We’re already excited to come back stronger next season!

Our U20 Girls’ Volleyball season was amazing. We finished with a strong record of 5 wins and 3 losses. This year, the team showed remarkable improvement in serving and attacking. The U20 girls fought hard in every match, earning 5th place in the division—just narrowly missing 4th place and a playoff spot. Despite the close call, we gave our all and created lasting memories with great teamwork and fun on the court. This season laid a solid foundation for even greater success next year. A huge thank you to Coach Markmann for your outstanding leadership and dedication to the team!

Our U20 Boys’ Volleyball team had a fantastic season! We welcomed lots of new players this year after many of our previous team members graduated. The boys worked super hard on receiving skills and built amazing teamwork together. We won 2 games and lost 5, and even though we didn’t reach the playoffs, every match was so much fun! Coach Lee was awesome, she taught us new formations and skills, and even celebrated the end of the season with bubble tea for everyone! Thank you for your support. We’re proud of our progress!

swimming

During Season 1, students in Grades 6-12 enthusiastically trained at the swimming pool twice a week, from Tuesday to Friday, focusing on their fitness, tumble turns, dive starts, and stroke techniques. They showcased their skills at two exciting mini meets—one at Australian International School and one at Malvern College—achieving impressive results, with several swimmers excelling in their timed finals. Unfortunately, a scheduling conflict with the OELP trip prevented attendance at the November ISSFHK swimming Championship. Looking ahead, we’re excited to plan for a conflict-free season next year, ready to compete against the best teams!

Huge thanks to every coach for your incredible commitment! You’ve built an amazing, uplifting team spirit and promoted true sportsmanship at AIS. We are ready for Season 2!
