AIS Eagles 2024–25 ★ Season 2: Raising the Bar and Racing Ahead

Season 2 has been fantastic! Our students have shown amazing progress, determination, and sportsmanship in all the sports they’ve played. From thrilling basketball games to runners beating their own records, this season has been full of great moments and achievements. Our athletes have not only competed with passion but also supported each other, showing the teamwork and dedication that AIS values.

Our U14 Boys’ Basketball team showed exceptional talent this season, dominating their way to the playoff finals. In a thrilling championship game against KCCIS, they narrowly missed the title by just one point (35-36). The team’s outstanding spirit and determination throughout the season promises an even stronger performance next year.

Our U14 Girls’ Basketball team had a thrilling season, finishing with 2 wins and 2 losses. They narrowly missed the playoffs by just one point against DSC, showing great potential. Many players were new, but their improvement in passing and shooting was remarkable. With more practice and experience, we believe they will shine even brighter next season!

Our U16 Boys’ Basketball team had a great season with 3 wins and 3 losses. Stepping up to Division 2 this year was a big challenge for our team. Despite finishing 5th in the group and missing out on the playoffs, our teamwork and spirit stood out throughout the season. During the off-season, we are committed to working even harder. We are confident that with this dedication, we will secure a playoff spot next year.

Our U20 Girls’ Basketball team showed great growth this year, finishing with 3 wins and 3 losses. They placed 3rd in Division 2, just missing the playoffs. This season marked a significant improvement from last year, especially with more players moving up from Middle School. They focused on developing their fundamental skills and are determined to strive for the playoffs next year!

Our U20 Boys’ Basketball team had a successful season, advancing to the playoffs with 3 wins and 2 losses. They welcomed strong players from the U16 team, boosting their performance. Although they lost to DSC in the semi-finals and lost to DBIS for the bronze, they are learning from these experiences. With their dedication and focus, we believe they are on track to compete for the championship next year!

This year, 28 runners participated in the cross country championship, and their hard work paid off! In the U12 Girls, one runner finished 7th out of 88. In U20 Boys, another runner secured 13th out of 70. The U16 Girls team excelled, with placements of 8th, 17th, and 22nd, earning them 2nd place overall! We are happy to see all the runners had beat their previous year time from last year to get their personal best result. We hope next year we can see more runners to join cross country next year! Keep it up! 

This year we joined the ISSFHK mini tournament at the PGA Development Center – Waterfall Golf Driving Range. One of our golfers got 4th place during the mini tournament. Unfortunately we are unable to join the golf championship this year but we believe we will recruit more golfers to join next year to able to join the golf championship.
