AIS is incredibly proud to celebrate our students’ outstanding accomplishments at the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association’s 78th Music Festival. This year marked a significant milestone for our Arts program, with middle and high school students delivering impressive performances across a range of disciplines. From the first chord to the final note, our Eagles demonstrated poise and passion as they represented AIS in vocal, piano, clarinet, and original composition solo competitions as well as string and woodwind ensemble competitions. The results speak volumes about their dedication. We are thrilled to announce that the majority of our participating students received a bronze medal or higher.

Beyond the medals and certificates, the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival is a testament to the confidence that is held within our students. There is no greater test of self-belief than performing on a silent stage in front of critical adjudicators or giving yourself to the vulnerability of having your composition opened and marked for critique. Walking into the performance room, managing performance anxiety, and delivering your best takes incredible courage and every single one of our Eagles walked off the stage stronger.
