8 February Community Update

Dear Parents, Students,

Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Happy Lunar New Year! The Year of the Dragon is quickly approaching, and I wish you all a very healthy, happy, and memorable holiday. Our Lunar New Year Assemblies were filled with joy this morning, and it was so lovely to welcome our parents back once again. The turn out was beyond our expectations, and the dedication and hard work of our students – and our amazing Mandarin teachers – was clearly evident, and they truly shone on stage this morning. Thank you, everyone, for being a part of this joyous celebration and for making it such a success!

Apple Distinguished School (ADS) Recognition Ceremony

My sincere thanks goes out to everyone who was able to be a part of another important step in AIS’s journey – the Apple Distinguished School (ADS) Recognition Ceremony on Monday, 5 February. The event was joyful, and we were so happy to celebrate this important achievement together. Once again, we extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. Anjali Rungta and Ankul Sidana were the perfect student ambassadors! Thank you for continuing to strive for creative excellence and for inspiring our students to share their ideas with the world.

We See Technology as an essential learning tool that gives students more flexibility and choice in how they demonstrate their learning and understanding.

Thank you PTA!

We would like to express our appreciation to our PTA for organizing the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ and Luncheon, to acknowledge the continuous contributions of our parent volunteers. Additionally, our PTA generously sponsored the PTA Wine & Cheese event following the ADS Recognition Ceremony, providing both our faculty and parents with a delightful event. On Wednesday, the PTA also provided fortune cookies to all AIS students and staff, adding an additional element of joy to the Lunar New Year Celebrations. We extend our deepest thanks to all those involved for their commitment and support.

Have a wonderful holiday ahead, and may you be blessed with good health, prosperity, inner peace, and genuine joy in the coming year.

My very best,

Anita Simpson
