On Monday, 5 February, the American International School community gathered for a truly historic milestone: the official Apple Distinguished School (ADS) Recognition Ceremony.
The afternoon was a joyful celebration of our commitment to creative excellence and our bold vision for the future of education. As an Apple Distinguished School, AIS is recognized globally as a center of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence that uses technology to inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
The event kicked off in the 125 Hall at 3:15 pm, where faculty, staff, and parents gathered to witness the formal recognition. We were particularly proud of our student ambassadors, Anjali Rungta and Ankul Sidana, who represented the spirit of the AIS Eagle perfectly. Their leadership reminds us why we strive to make school truly relevant: so our students have the confidence to share their ideas with the world.
Following the formal ceremony, the celebration moved outdoors. The community gathered on the Green Oval for commemorative photos, capturing the smiles of the families and educators who made this achievement possible.
The festivities continued into the evening with a wonderful Wine & Cheese reception, generously sponsored by our PTA. It was a perfect opportunity for parents and teachers to connect, reflect on our journey since 1986, and toast to the bright future of our students.
