The annual Winter Fair hosted by the Parent Teachers’ Association is a historical tradition at AIS. It is an opportunity for the school to celebrate together the rich and diverse cultural influences that shape our community. Formerly known as the Cultural Fair, the Winter Fair is held every December to coincide with the season’s holiday festivities.
The Winter Fair is the school’s major fundraising event of the year; all the money raised is used to support the purchase of additional resources to enhance the quality of our students’ educational experience. It is also one of the biggest school productions, where students and teachers stage various seasonal performances, coordinated by the school’s Visual & Performing Arts department.
Every year, the organizing committee picks a theme to tie the entire event together. During the Winter Fair, there are a variety of game booths and stalls for our children and guest visitors to visit and participate in. The international food and drink stalls run by our parents serve various international delicacies.
There is something for everyone and each year is something different. We invite you to celebrate the season with us!
