Grade 2 & 3 Camp
The Grade 2 & 3 Day Camp at Lei Yue Mun Park in Chai Wan on 11 January 2011 is an opportunity for our students to participate in physical outdoor and indoor activities. Students learned to play and cooperate with each other as they learned to ride a bike, wall climb, shoot with a bow and arrow, and play badminton. It was a great day and we all became better friends.

Grade 4 Camp
When the Grade 4s arrived at Dragon Fly’s Cheng Chau campsite on 11 April, everyone was excited. We had activities like rock climbing where we had to put on our equipments. After dinner, we went on a night walk to an abandoned house. The girls screamed, and the boys went, Ooooooh!

The next morning, we went on a Sampan ride and caving. We tried to find treasure, but had no luck. The best part was our trip to the beach. I also got absolutely drenched.

The last night, we had a BBQ. The food was absolutely delicious! On the final morning came the GREAT RACE! Everyone zoomed off! I was really excited. My team almost got lost! Finally, we all returned to the campsite to say goodbye. Overall, our camp was a blast!

Grade 5 Camp
On 16 March, Grade 5 went on a 3-days adventure to the Bradbury Camp in the forest in Sai Kung. We did lots of new things like sleeping in dorms, making fires and rock climbing.

The best thing was when we participated in the camp craft because we got to make mini fires. Our instructor was Eric. He was quite funny too. We had to make mini fires out of some small sticks, big sticks and some yarn. It looked hard but if you had a go, it’s quite easy.

Eric was really good at making mini fires. When a fire went down he just blew on it then the fire would continue to burn. When we were finished, our fire was as big as my leg.

We had a wonderful time with all of our friends, teachers and the Dragon Fly staff.
