We offer a robust and challenging academic program aligned with US educational standards. Our standards-based curriculum supports successful student learning in the following areas:

English / Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Modern Languages, Technology, Visual & Performing Arts, Physical Education & Health

Teachers offer a broad range of after-school activities, both recreational and competitive, for students across the school. Students compete in both the Hong Kong School Sports Federation (HKSSF) and the International School Sports Federation (HKISSF) competitions for athletics, swimming, volleyball, soccer and basketball. In addition to this, a number of commercial providers also offer extra-curricular programs including dance, tae-kwon-do and tennis.

This component of the educational experience on offer at AIS, provides students across the school with regular opportunities to develop essential life-skills through a systematic program of outdoor education, camping and leadership training.

AIS is committed to supporting the growth and development of well-rounded individuals, equipped with the social skills necessary for solving problems and seeking positive solutions. A number of student support programs such as Steps to Respect, Second Step, Peacemakers and Peer Mediation are established components of our regular curriculum.
