By the time Senior Year begins, our students like the eagle, are ready to soar. Having successfully navigated the difficulties and challenges of their junior year, seniors will feel confident in their position as school leaders. Senior year is a special time in any student’s life and with the support and guidance of the counselor and deans, students can look forward to graduation. Seniors will of course continue to work hard academically in order to secure university and college admission. They will also be expected to excel in their extra-curricular life, gain valuable voluntary and community work experience, and where possible help mentor younger students. Typically, a very strong student-counselor relationship will develop during the senior year as these young men and women finalize their plans and preparations for university and college studies. As we celebrate every successful admission, initial feelings of relief quickly turn to those of excited anticipation for what lies ahead. In the end every student will feel proud, knowing all their hard work over the past four years of high school has been worth it.
