Campus Development

The basketball court at the middle school campus
was refurbished in 2012.
Phase 2 of high school campus was completed in 2007.
With the growing number of families attracted to the unique qualities of an AIS education, our physical campus has also increased.

Over the years our unique red-brick walled campus has continued to grow. Securing permanent facilities with high profile frontage on Waterloo Road has resulted in AIS becoming one of the most distinctive landmarks in the prestigious area of Kowloon Tong.

In recent years AIS has undertaken significant campus redevelopment projects. In the spring of 2005, we celebrated the opening of Phase 1 of our new high school campus, followed two years later with the completion of Phase 2, and a second brand new high school building. In total, 14 new high school classrooms, 2 fully-equipped science labs, a new all weather basketball court, increased recess space and a new 25 meter outdoor pool were added.

The new elementary campus was opened in 2011.

A brand new elementary buildng located at 117-119 Waterloo Road is now completed and open in February 2011. It includes a full-size volleyball court and basketball court. Each classroom is equipped with a library corner and a computer station. The building is a capstone to the curriculum and excellent instructional programs being delivered by our high quality teaching staff.

Since March 2011, all of our classrooms are installed with interactive whiteboards.
