Admissions Procedure

1. Applicants should complete the attached application form and return it with:

• a copy of the applicant's birth certificate or passport or HKID
• two recent passport size photographs (within one year)
• report cards or transcripts for the previous 3 academic years
• payment of a HK$1,000 or US$135 application fee in cash, or by check payable to AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

2. When the above requirements have been completed, the admission officer will arrange

• a placement test for the applicant
• an interview for the applicant and parents with a Principal

These will help to determine the student's placement in the A.I.S. curriculum.

3. If the applicant is accepted by A.I.S., office personnel will assist parents in tuition fee payment, textbooks, school uniforms, school lunches, as well as school bus arrangements.
