The Grade 1 Juniors went to the Tuen Mun Public Riding school for our trip on May 26th, 2010. It was a fun experience for the children. They enjoyed pony riding, and taking a tour around the stable with the staff members of the jockey club. They learned about how to take care of the horses such as cleansing and feeding them. They watched the horses baths and took photos with the Shalom ponies. The Gr 1 Junior children went to the Butterful Beach Park for a picnic nearby and they had a wonderful time playing in the butterfly maze. Thank you for all the support from the parents that day.

The children followed a trail around the park to collect stamps by visiting different exhibition areas. At the end of our scavenger hunt, they had a fantastic time playing at the tree house playground with their friends.

We would like to give special thanks to the 18 parent volunteers who came along to supervise the students along with us. Without your continuous support, the trip would not have been successful.
