The TennisLife Interschool Tournament 2010 was held on Sunday, May 30th at the Hong Kong International School. Even though it was a rainy day, the Middle School Gym was filled with intensive tennis matches. Our young players played with big competitive hearts. For many children it was their first taste of tennis competition. It was an exhilarating start with the added bonus of the support from their parents and their team.

The American International School placed second in the competition. This was an outstanding result for a first time effort. AIS played against the players from Chinese International School; Australian International School and Hong Kong International School – All TennisLife Red level players. The American International School Tennis Team had tight matches, great shots, long rallies and outstanding sportsmanship.
The competition winner was the Chinese International School. It was a very tough task for the CIS Tennis Team. Every point in every match counted! The American International School and CIS both won 11 matches. However, the outcome was decided on a point’s count back. CIS won 497 points and AIS won 491 points.
Congratulations to the American International School TennisLife Team!
