The High School Athletic Council is an elected body, which meets every Thursday during lunch. Student representatives, who serve on the council, are chosen each year by their homeroom. Each representative is elected for their athletic skills and leadership potential as well as their character and teamwork abilities.
The Athletic Council exists to help the school run and maintain the best possible inter-house sporting competitions consistent with the academic integrity of our school. These lunchtime or after school events help foster house and school spirit within the High School, and provide opportunities for all students to develop teamwork, athletic ability and social skills. The Athletic council works very closely with the PE department in guiding preparations for, and the organization of, the inter-house track and field day and homeroom sporting competitions.
Meeting time and date: Every Monday at lunchtime in Room 311.
