AIS School Uniform
	We have a simple but strong uniform policy across the school and expect all students to meet its requirements.   We value our uniform for the positive impression it generates. In as much as our students’ attitudes and actions define them, so too does their uniform. As a school community we appreciate the positive impact a strong school uniform can have. We value the positive impression it creates in the wider community, the sense of unity and equality it creates across our campus, and the way it strengthens our sense of school pride. We believe an AIS student walks taller in their uniform, proud of who they are and where they come from.

	Uniform Seasons
	Typically from August through November, AIS students wear their summer uniform, changing into the warmer winter uniform from December through March. As the weather becomes hotter again, students return to their summer uniform in April through to the end of the school year in June. Summer Uniform 2012-13  18 March, 2013 is the official date of all students switching to summer uniform. Students may start switching from winter uniform to summer uniform on 11 March, 2013.
