Kelvin Chow

Kelvin Chow (Grade 12) 
Leadership, responsible, dedicated, and team player are words that describe Kelvin. Kelvin is an outstanding athlete who works very hard. His desires to help his teammates and to perform to the best of his abilities are qualities which separate him from other athletes. Kelvin has played many sports while at AIS. Kelvin has run track, cross country, been a member of the basketball and volleyball teams. Kelvin is a previous winner of the middle school athlete of the year and is a very deserving co-winner of this year’s male high school athlete of the year. 

    

Gyu-Seuk Lee

Gyu-Seuk Lee (Grade 12)
Energetic, enthusiastic and a team player are the best ways to describe this young man. Gyu-Seuk is an outstanding athlete who has represented AIS in volleyball, soccer and track and field. He always gives his best effort and shows great leadership skills. Gyu-Seuk won MVP for soccer and volleyball this year and is a deserving co-winner of this year’s AIS male athlete of the year.  

    

Jeanne Shin

Jeanne Shin (Grade 12)
Jeanne has represented AIS in sports since grade 6. She has won many sporting awards including cross country and track and field championship medals. Jeanne has been a previous MVP for basketball, volleyball, track and field and middle school female athlete of the year. Jeanne has outstanding leadership skills and is a very hard working athlete. She is extremely coachable and always pushes herself to her true potential. Jeanne is the first person in the history of AIS to win athlete of the year and Valedictorian.

    

Kanari Inukai

Kanari Inukai (Grade 8)
Few people love sports and competing as much as Kanari. Whether he is competing in soccer, cross country or track and field, Kanari always put forward 100% effort. His love of competition can easily be seen by the physical effort he puts into every competition. Kanari is a great teammate who encourages his fellow athletes and leads by example. Congratulations Kanari on a great year in sports.

    

Elizabeth Chung

Elizabeth Chung (Grade 8)
Hard working, dependable and dedicated are words that describe Elizabeth. Elizabeth can always be counted on to produce a great effort in practices or games. Her work ethics and determinations have helped her teams gain successes. Elizabeth won MVP for soccer and basketball this year. This has been a great year for a great young athlete.
