The PTA is a formal channel of communication between families and the school. It is an independent association which supports a variety of events and activities across the school, encouraging families to play an active role in the life of the school and generally enhances school spirit.
Through the efforts of the PTA additional funds are raised to support, enhance and enrich the learning experiences of all students.
The PTA has its own constitution and an elected Executive with the following voluntary positions:
President: Responsible for coordinating the Executive, and is generally recognized as the official spokesperson of the PTA.
Vice-Presidents: Responsible for assisting the President in coordinating PTA initiatives with the school's administration. There are Vice-Presidents responsible for each of the major national communities including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian and International.
Secretary: Responsible for taking Minutes at meetings, compiling agendas and taking care of all PTA correspondence.
Treasurer: Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for all PTA accounts.
