AIS Student featured as Youth Olympian of the Week
AIS High School student Yvette Kong won a silver and two bronze medals at the Asian Swimming Championships on the mainland last year. She holds 13 Hong Kong swim records. She won silver in the 4x100 metres medley relay at last year's East Asian Games and will compete in the Youth Olympics Game in Singapore. Click

Major School Donor Recognition for SCMP Operation Santa Claus
Once again, AIS has become one of the major school donors for the annual Operation Santa Claus campaign jointly organized by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). This year, the campaign supports 13 beneficiaries and AIS has raised $14139.20 through organising a free dress day on Dec 11 and a special Red and Green Day on Dec 18 for this festive and very meaningful campaign. "Winter Showcase 2009" by AIS Students at Fringe Club
The students of the Visual Performing Arts Department of the AIS high-school division showcase their first-term efforts on 14-15th December, 2009 at the Fringe Club. The Senior Drama class represents the one-act play "The Whole Shebang", which asks: what if the universe were just some nerd's science-fair project? The Junior Drama class presents the one-act play"...And a Partridge in a Pear Tree", which tickles the funny bone and sees cameos from every traditional American holiday. The Music Technology class, Junior Band, Senior Band, Jazz Band and Guitar Club also perform. (Fringe Club programme, 12/2009)

Ms Jannel Chan, a high school fine art and photography teacher at AIS held her first Mixed Media Arts Exhibition at the Fringe Club during 19-30, December, 2009. The theme of her exhibition is Separator 2099 (II).

For the very first time, the AIS Dance Club performed at the famous Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation 'Arts in the Park' Mardi Gras 2009 sponsored by the Standard Chartered.
